Why We Started A Keto Diet Health Food Store

My name is Katie and I am a mother of twin boys and a beautiful baby girl. I developed an interest in the ketogenic diet when my late husband, Adam was undergoing cancer treatment. While researching the best ways we could support Adam’s health, we found promising information on how following a ketogenic diet can work with traditional cancer treatment to enhance results. For the time that Adam was able to follow this diet, he had great success with a remarkable reduction in seizures and a reduction in tumor size, as illustrated by his brain scans.

The white areas of the scans indicate cancer and tumours. The first scan was taken before Adam began eating keto foods, the second scan is afterwards with chemo. There is about an 85% decrease in the cancer.

At the point in Adam’s treatment when feeding tubes became a necessity, the keto diet was no longer an option for him. Regardless, we were so pleased with the progress Adam made while eating keto that him and I both knew that this was an opportunity we had to provide to other cancer fighters and we began providing free keto snacks to other cancer patients. Since our inception, we have dedicated 5% from every sale to sustaining this initiative and sharing these healthy #TreatsfromAdam with cancer fighters, right here in London, Ontario. Adam passed away in September of 2018 and we honor his memory by instilling his kind and generous spirit and our endless love for him into every treat we bake here at The Ketonut.

If you know someone who could benefit from #TreatsfromAdam please submit the form below or contact me directly.  We do a monthly draw from all submissions and provide free meals to the patient whose name is drawn.
